This purchase dramatically expands im体育APP’s 航空航天 footprint in 欧洲 with the addition of six UK laboratories and capabilities in EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), Vibration and 环境 模拟, Safety 测试, 收音机, 电信, Explosive Atmosphere 测试 (ATEX), Finite im体育APP Analysis (FEA) and Early Stage Qualification (ESQ). The deal adds 30 EMC testing chambers to the im体育APP Group, including a Heavy Vehicle Semi-Anechoic Chamber (HVSAC) with an 18m x 14m working volume and capacity for 70 ton floor loading, which is one of only three in the UK.
im体育APP’s continued investment in its 航空航天 产品 Qualification 测试 (PQT) offering ensures that it remains uniquely positioned to deliver on both the PQT and Materials 测试 (MT) requirements of 航空航天 Primes and their supply chain partners.
TRaC is the second major addition to the im体育APP platform in 航空航天 product qualification testing in the first quarter of 2015, having acquired Minneapolis-based Environ Laboratories in January.
